(November 9, 2023) INDIANAPOLIS - Heartland Film has announced tickets are on sale to its new signature fundraising event, Cinemania, a one-night celebration of iconic film through unique experiences. The inaugural fundraiser will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024 at The Crane Bay Event Center with the theme "A Tribute to The Beatles in Film."
Guests are invited to come together for an evening of live music, psychedelic photo experiences, fab food and of course, drinks that will make you feel all right!
Cinemania comes at an exciting anniversary year for The Beatles in film and Indianapolis. The year 2024 marks the 60th Anniversary of "A Hard Day's Night" and The Beatles' performance at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Heartland Film's new fundraiser hopes to capture Beatlemania through immersive experiences in the themed areas Lucy in the Sky of Diamonds, Strawberry Fields Forever and Yellow Submarine.
HEADLINING ENTERTAINMENT
America's premiere tribute band from Chicago, BritBeat, will be headlining the night. Through elaborate costume changes, they'll take Cinemania attendees through The Beatles eras, including the Ed Sullivan Show, Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road. Local artist scheduled include Rebecca Rafla and DJ Lockstar, with additions to be announced closer to the event.
CINEMANIA COMMITTEE
Cinemania's Honorary Chair is Angelo Pizzo. Angelo is the award-winning screenwriter and producer of the beloved, inspirational sports dramas "Hoosiers" and "Rudy." Angelo formerly served on the Heartland Film Board of Directors and has fond memories seeing live when they performed in 1964 in Indianapolis as well as seeing "A Hard Day's Night" on the big screen in Bloomington.

Heartland Film is a nonprofit arts organization that was founded in 1991. Based in Indianapolis, Heartland Film's mission is to curate, promote and celebrate thoughtful and engaging films from diverse perspectives. All proceeds for the evening will help Heartland Film continue to showcase films that do more than entertain.
Heartland Film's President Michael Ault was formerly at IU Health and helped found Rev. Since coming to the film organization, he has always dreamed of launching a signature fundraiser event for Heartland Film.
